Caretaker - Horton Grange Primary School, Blyth

We are looking for a reliable and flexible caretaker to join our in-house site maintenance team for 30 hours per week. The working hours are 12.30pm - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

We are looking to employ a caretaker who will assist the School Business Manager in the day to day running of the school site. The post is permanent, 30 hours a week, 52 weeks per year. This post is very important in the smooth running of the school; therefore, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual willing to work with us in achieving our objectives. There will be an be an element of a split shift to enable you to be here at the times of greatest need.

You will possess basic numeracy and literacy skills as well as an ability to demonstrate a range of basic maintenance and DIY skills. Previous caretaking or supervisory experience in a comparable environment would be desirable.
