About the Role

The Portfolio Debt & Treasury Manager will be the senior owner of Aukera’s debt management, liquidity and treasury activity across the Group. The role brings together responsibility for project finance administration, lender reporting, covenant compliance, cash management, bank relationships and financial risk management.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage detail accurately, keep stakeholders informed, and provide clear recommendations to senior management and the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage Aukera’s group liquidity, cash forecasting and cash position.

· Oversee treasury operations, including treasury systems, payments, bank accounts, cash pooling, letters of credit and guarantees, bank mandates and KYC.

· Own lender reporting and covenant compliance across project finance and corporate debt facilities.

· Prepare compliance certificates, financial model updates, lender reports and event-driven notices.

· Track construction-phase reporting, drawdowns, conditions subsequent and cost-to-complete monitoring.

· Update bank models, calculate covenant ratios and monitor headroom, risks and potential breaches.

· Manage financial risk and compliance activity, including interest rate, FX, counterparty and credit risk within defined limits.

· Monitor non-financial covenant compliance and ESG/IFI lender requirements, including information and general undertakings, consent requirements and applicable standards.

· Coordinate with Finance, Structured Finance, Operations, Legal, Insurance, HSE/ESG and external advisers.

· Lead day-to-day relationships with agent banks, lenders and relevant advisers.

· Prepare waiver, consent and amendment requests where required.

· Monitor covenant headroom and provide early warning on breaches, cure periods and Events of Default.

· Review and challenge model assumptions and covenant calculation methodology.

· Develop and maintain treasury, hedging, investment and counterparty policies.

· Create clear reporting for the CFO, senior management and Audit Committee.

· Maintain oversight of non-financial covenants, including information undertakings, permitted-action baskets and consent requirements.

· Interpret facility, security and accounts agreements and advise internally on requirements and restrictions.

· Manage compliance with security, intercreditor and intercompany guarantee arrangements.

· Assess the debt and covenant implications of operational and portfolio decisions before they become lender issues.

· Review draft facility documentation on new financings and negotiate workable reporting and covenant terms before signing.

· Optimise distributions, reserve accounts (DSRA/DSRF) and letters of credit to reduce cash drag.

· Monitor compliance with mandatory hedging requirements under each facility — hedge ratio, tenor and permitted instruments — flagging deviations from reprofiling, drawdown timing, prepayment or refinancing

Experience and Qualifications

· At least five years’ experience in project finance, structured finance, portfolio management, corporate treasury, banking, asset management or a similar finance role.

· Strong experience with lender reporting, loan facility management and covenant compliance.

· Good understanding of renewable energy project finance, ideally across multiple European markets.

· Experience with cash management, liquidity planning, payment controls, bank account structures and treasury systems.

· Advanced financial modelling skills, including covenant ratio calculations and bank model updates.

· Experience interpreting debt documentation and translating requirements into clear actions.

· Exposure to construction-phase reporting, drawdowns and cost-to-complete monitoring would be helpful.

· Experience with battery storage, IFI/DFI lender requirements or debt raising would be an advantage.

· Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.

· Strong Excel skills and confidence learning finance and treasury systems.
