A well-regarded regional law firm in Cheshire is seeking a motivated and ambitious Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) to join its growing Court of Protection team based in Altrincham. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to build a specialist career in Court of Protection work within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You will work closely with experienced practitioners on a varied caseload, including deputyship applications, management of property and financial affairs, and advising on issues affecting vulnerable clients. Key responsibilities: Managing your own caseload of Court of Protection matters with appropriate supervision Assisting senior colleagues on more complex cases Liaising with clients, families, and third parties with sensitivity and professionalism Supporting the ongoing development of the department The ideal candidate will: Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 0-3 years' PQE Have experience or a strong interest in Court of Protection work (experience during training will be considered) Demonstrate excellent communication and client care skills Be organised, proactive, and eager to develop professionally What's on offer: High-quality work with a genuine opportunity to specialise A collaborative and friendly team culture Ongoing training and career progression opportunities Competitive salary and benefits package This role would suit a newly qualified solicitor or junior lawyer looking to take the next step in a rewarding and meaningful area of law.
