This is an exciting new post created to offer clinical leadership and expertise to 2 community CAMHS teams in Tameside and Stockport. The post involves offering expertise in working with children and young people presenting to CAMHS with a moderate to severe mental health need and other complexity around neurodiversity and or a Learning disability . Main duties of the job
To provide guidance and support to clinical staff in the management of complex cases.oTo provide guidance and support on relevant legislation.oTo be responsible for the development and maintenance of effective clinical pathways between CAMHS and other services.oTo provide additional leadership and guidance to other team members in risk assessment, risk management and positive problem solving and lead on debriefs following incidents.oDevelop confidence and competence within the team for managing complex clinical cases and issues.oTo take a lead role in the provision of clinical leadership and structured clinical supervision to the team.oTo lead on and ensure that the team undertakes appropriate and in-depth assessments and on-going intervention, and undertake the duties and responsibilities of an active lead case manager role About us

To work as an integral part of the CAMHS Service which will include carrying a small complex caseload. - Registered professional Nursing/Social Work/Occupational Therapist. Degree or Diploma in a professional qualification Evidence of post registration additional training and/or experience to Master's

- Significant experience of leadership and proven track record of managing groups of staff and/or teams Successful management and control of substantial and complex resources Evidence of improving service quality Successful track record of prompting, leading and implementing change programmes that drive up standards and service performance History of holding responsibility and accountability for clinical decisions and empowering clinicians to make difficult clinical decisions Evidence of high levels of competence with written documentation Evidence of achieving high standards regarding CPA
