Behaviour Mentor - SEN School

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional and complex needs? We are recruiting a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor to work within a specialist SEN school supporting pupils with complex needs and PMLD.

This is a highly rewarding role where your support will make a direct and meaningful difference every single day.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs and PMLD
• Support students with autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, and medical needs
• Implement personalised behaviour and care plans
• Use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
• Assist with personal care where required
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with complex needs, PMLD, or challenging behaviour
• Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
• Physically and emotionally resilient
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Background in care, SEN, youth work, or support work (desirable)
