Lead quality, compliance and continuous improvement across Inspire Wellbeing. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Quality & Governance to join our senior leadership team and play a key role in driving excellence across quality, safeguarding, governance and compliance. Working closely with the Director of Quality & Governance, you will help shape and maintain the frameworks, systems and culture that support high-quality services throughout the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader who is passionate about continuous improvement, organisational learning and making a meaningful difference. About the Role As Assistant Director of Quality & Governance, you will provide leadership and expert guidance across quality assurance, safeguarding, information governance, risk management and regulatory compliance. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Inspire to promote best practice, support service improvement and ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Participating and promoting a culture focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for people supported by Inspire’s services.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of the Quality theme within Inspire’s strategic plans.
  • Enabling the administration, management and oversight of Inspire’s Quality and Governance Frameworks.
  • Facilitating a continuous improvement approach that also shares and promotes best practice.
  • Participating and promoting a culture of robust Information Governance through effective security and compliance with Data Protection Legislation.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Professionally qualified in a Health & Social Care-related discipline or QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care And 5 years’ Quality or Compliance experience three of which must be working at a Manager level or above. Or
  • A third level qualification (or equivalent) and 5 years’ Quality or Compliance experience three of which must be working at a Manager level or above.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading quality improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstratable experience in managing large volumes of information ensuring it’s appropriate, collection, retention and disposal.
  • Demonstratable experience in the reporting of actionable information resulting from analysis of large volumes of information to meet the needs of a range of internal stakeholders.
  • Experience of negotiating with statutory bodies.
  • Experience of direct line management with well-developed leadership skills.
  • A full current driving licence and access to a car. Business insurance will be a requirement for this post. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable as the role will involve working at various locations throughout Ireland.
