HGV Class 1 Driver – Fresh & Chilled Produce
Ongoing Seasonal Work Available Until Christmas

Millison Chase Limited are recruiting on behalf of our client to support increased seasonal demand within the fresh and chilled distribution sector.

We are looking for experienced and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work delivering fresh and chilled produce to stores, RDCs and NDCs.

The Role

This work includes:

Store deliveries
RDC and NDC distribution
Typically 1–2 drops per shift
Drop and collection work depending on route

Deliveries may involve:

Bay deliveries
Use of tail lifts
Electric pump truck operation for smaller stores

Shifts can be long but are fully compliant with driver hours legislation.

Pay Rates
£16.00 per hour – Monday to Friday Days
£17.00 per hour – Nights
Up to £22.00 per hour – Weekend Working

All positions are:

Direct PAYE employment
Holiday pay accrued
Workplace pension scheme after qualifying period
Requirements

Applicants must have:

Minimum 1 year UK HGV Class 1 driving experience
Valid UK HGV Class 1 Licence
Valid UK CPC Card
Valid UK Digital Tachograph Card

Drivers must also:

Have no more than 6 penalty points
Have NO DD, DR, MS, CU or TT endorsements
