Systems Administrator (Housing Services)

£39.15k - £41.77k per annum
Full-time
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled, and motivated individual to join our Housing ICT Team as a Systems Administrator.

This role provides vital support to our operational services and helps to drive digital improvement across Housing Services.

Working as part of a small, dedicated team, you will take a leading role in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT systems that support our housing services. We are looking for someone with proven project management skills who can successfully deliver system developments and business improvements.

The role is primarily focused on user-facing software administration and business processes. Responsibilities include:
  • Managing user accounts and system permissions
  • Configuring and implementing software enhancements and new functionality
  • Supporting system users across Housing Services
  • Reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Ensuring technology solutions support service transformation and efficiency objectives
A key element of the role is driving continual improvement by identifying how technology can enhance service delivery, improve customer journeys, and support organisational change. The successful candidate will help ensure system developments align with the Council's Customer Services and Digital Strategy.

As System Administrator, you will act as the primary point of contact for the Housing Services systems portfolio and work closely with both Housing Services colleagues and the Council's wider Corporate ICT teams.

Experience of working with housing management systems such as MRI Enterprise, MRI Asset Management, AccuServ Repairs, or RentSense would be advantageous, although training can be provided and these systems are not essential requirements.

For detailed information on this role, please refer to the Role Profile and Person Specification.
