ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a highly skilled Video Editor to join the Carwow YouTube team, producing high-performance longform content for one of the world's leading automotive channels. This isn't just an editing role. You'll play a key part in shaping content that reaches millions of viewers each week, working across formats like drag races, car reviews, off-road challenges, and feature videos. You should be fast, creative, and deeply tuned into what makes YouTube content perform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

3+ years professional editing experience (Premiere Pro & After Effects) Strong storytelling instincts and ability to edit for engagement and retention Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Experience working with YouTube content and/or automotive topics Confident communicator who can work autonomously and within a team Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel A genuine interest in cars and automotive culture (essential) Edit 1-2 longform YouTube videos per week to a high professional standard Shape pacing, storytelling, and retention with a strong understanding of YouTube audiences Collaborate closely with the Lead Editor and Project Manager on workflow and deadlines Attend occasional shoots (approx. 1-2 per month) to support filming and camera operation Use YouTube analytics to continuously improve subsequent video performance Leverage AI tools to enhance production (motion graphics, assets, workflows)
