Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver – West Edinburgh
Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client based in the West of Edinburgh .
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent .
The Role
- Location: West Edinburgh
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 10:30am – 7:00pm
- Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
- Start Date: Monday 24th August
- Position: Temporary to Permanent
- Preparing orders and stacking pallets ready for delivery
- Wrapping and securing pallets ready to be loaded onto trucks
- Moving pallets and cages around the warehouse
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift as required
- General warehouse duties
- Working as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared safely and efficiently
- Following all warehouse health & safety procedures
✅ Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Ticket – essential
- Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience – essential
- Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous
- Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable with a physically active warehouse role
