Job Description We're looking for a Highways & Drainage Design Engineer to join our team based in Various locations. Holding IEng Initial Professional Development (or CEng equivalent progress) with a relevant professional institution (e.g. ICE) with relevant experience, or a Level 6 or Level 7 qualification with relevant experience, or demonstrable relevant experience in engineering Experienced in highways and drainage design solutions Able to manage project responsibilities and lead design teams Committed to maintaining professional development and technical excellence Collaborative and focused on building effective relationships with clients and stakeholders What will you be responsible for? As a Highways & Drainage Design Engineer, you'll be working within the design team, supporting them in delivering complex construction engineering services. We're seeking a talented engineer

to join our team and contribute to delivering complex construction engineering services. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, providing solutions that are safe, buildable, and innovative. You'll be involved in everything from temporary works design to technical assessments, supporting our reputation for engineering excellence whilst developing your career in a collaborative and supportive environment. Your day to day will include: Leading temporary works design and checking, with a focus on highways and drainage solutions integrated with permanent works design Providing tender and bid winning support including outline design schemes, feasibility studies, and innovative solutions Conducting technical assessments and reviews of third party designs to ensure compliance with client and Kier requirements Managing project delivery including design deliverables, financial aspects, and client relationships under appropriate supervision
