A high-achieving Mixed Secondary School in Leeds is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Graphics Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their successful Design and Technology / Art department. Responsibilities will include planning and delivering curriculum content across typography, branding, packaging design, and digital illustration, as well as supporting health and safety procedures throughout the department. You may also assist with school publications, exhibitions of student work, and departmental enrichment activities across the school.

The role requires someone who is practical, organised, and enthusiastic about Graphic Communication and Visual Arts. Strong attention to detail, a passion for contemporary design practice, and the ability to manage multiple practical tasks effectively are essential. Requirements * QTS / ECT status (or equivalent recognized teaching qualification)

• Degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Communication, or a related discipline

• Strong digital design skills and proficiency with software like Photoshop/Illustrator

• Knowledge of Art/DT Graphics curricula and examination specifications

• Creative and proactive approach to classroom management and student portfolios
