About the Role

Are you a qualified teacher looking for your next opportunity?

Educato works with a wide range of schools across Rochdale, Middleton, North Manchester and Oldham, and we are looking to register enthusiastic and committed teachers across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4.

Whether you're looking for full-time work, part-time hours, regular teaching days or longer-term opportunities, we can offer a variety of roles to suit your availability, experience and preferred year group or subject.

Our partner schools regularly require teachers to provide day-to-day supply, short-term cover, sickness cover and longer-term placements, giving you the flexibility to choose the type of work that suits you.

What You Could Be Doing

Depending on the school and role, you may be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
• Supporting pupils' academic progress and development.
• Adapting teaching to meet different learning needs and abilities.
• Maintaining positive behaviour and effective classroom management.
• Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Working alongside teaching assistants and other members of the school team.
• Monitoring pupil progress and identifying areas for development.
• Providing consistency and continuity when covering lessons or classes.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from teachers who have:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within your relevant phase, key stage or subject.
• Confidence in planning and delivering lessons independently.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to teaching.
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Good availability, whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work.
• A genuine commitment to supporting pupils and helping them succeed.

Why Work With Educato?

As we work with multiple schools across the local area, registering with Educato gives you access to a range of teaching opportunities rather than being tied to one particular school.

We can help you find work that matches your:

• Preferred location
• Preferred year group or key stage
• Subject specialism
• Availability
• Experience
• Preferred full-time or part-time hours
• Career goals

You'll also receive support from a dedicated education recruitment consultant who will work with you to identify suitable opportunities and support you throughout your placements.

Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge, an ECT looking to build experience, or a teacher simply looking for greater flexibility, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2026) guidance and safer recruitment standards. Overseas police checks may be required where applicable.
