Part-time

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Lecturer in Filmmaking and Media Production to join our team on a part-time (0.5 FTE) basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, practice-led programme that prepares students for careers in contemporary film and media industries.

A strong commitment to practice-led teaching and learning
Knowledge of relevant industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar)
Experience of supporting learners in developing creative and technical skills
An understanding of current industry practices and production processes
A Master's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in a relevant field
A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh
Why join us:

You will become part of a collaborative and supportive academic community, with access to excellent facilities and opportunities for professional development. We are committed to fostering creativity, innovation, and inclusive teaching practices.

Our commitment to inclusion:

We recognise that skills and experience can be gained through a variety of pathways. If you meet many, but not all, of the criteria, we still encourage you to apply. We value creativity, potential, and enthusiasm for teaching alongside established expertise.
