Executive Officer (EO) - Marine Management Organisation - I-VMS Support x1 (Temporary)
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE4 7AR
Working Days / Hours: Mon - Fri, Hybrid 2 days in the office
Pay Rate: £15.58
Level of Clearance Required: Basic DBS
Length of Assignment: 2/3 Months

Provide operational and administrative support to the I-VMS Team, supporting stakeholder engagement, maintaining accurate records, handling enquiries, and assisting with compliance and regulatory activities.

I-VMS stands for Inshore Vessel Monitoring System .

What you'll be doing:
* Acting as a first point of contact for industry enquiries, supporting shared inboxes and directing queries to the right place
* Providing first-line support via the phoneline, including guidance and basic device troubleshooting
* Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in Offshore Monitoring Team SPOL, supporting compliance/control/enforcement tracking
* Collecting, inputting and validating data to support performance reporting and monitoring of stakeholder engagement activity
* Supporting compliance through outbound calls to industry and other stakeholders
* Preparing routine correspondence, internal documents and reports
* Assisting with renewed engagement initiatives (including replacement devices)
* Providing flexible administrative support across the Offshore Monitoring Team during busy periods or when extra capacity is needed
What you'll bring:
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Good written and verbal communication, with a professional, customer-focused approach
* High attention to detail when working with data-inputting, updating and maintaining information accurately
* Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
* Ability to manage and respond to a high volume of enquiries promptly
* A collaborative mindset, building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
