Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Location: Warrington, Cheshire (Local Junior School)
Hours: Part-time (26 hours per week, 4 days, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Contract: Temporary / Fixed-Term (1 Year)
Start Date: Autumn Term (September 2026)

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly Warrington junior school team. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with wonderful Key Stage 2 children, providing vital 1-to-1 support for pupils with additional learning needs.

Your Role in Our School
Under the guidance of our teaching and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in making education accessible and enjoyable. Your day-to-day will involve:
* Targeted 1:1 Support: Working closely with individual children who have specific learning and additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and build self-confidence.
* Small-Group Guidance: Supervising and supporting small groups of pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
* Pastoral Care: Providing essential support during key parts of the school day, including lunchtime pupil supervision.
* Collaborative Teaching: Partnering with class teachers to develop and strengthen pupils’ core literacy and numeracy skills.

* Be committed to safety, strictly adhering to school policies regarding safeguarding, child welfare, health and safety, and data protection.
* Show a willingness to learn, participating in any relevant training to best support our vulnerable pupils.
