We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Caretaker to join a busy Primary School in Harrow on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, well-organised school environment where students and staff can focus on learning. If you’ve previously worked as a caretaker in a Primary School, you’ll already know how varied the role can be, from opening up the site in the morning to making sure classrooms, corridors, and facilities stay safe and well maintained throughout the day. What you’ll be doing Opening and closing the school site each dayCarrying out general maintenance and repairs across the schoolEnsuring the school grounds and buildings are safe, secure, and well maintainedSupporting with health and safety checks around the siteSetting up rooms and spaces for school events, meetings, and activitiesResponding quickly to any site issues or maintenance requests We’re looking for someone who Has previous caretaker experience in a secondary schoolIs practical, proactive, and confident handling maintenance tasksUnderstands the importance of health and safety within a school environmentIs reliable, organised, and takes pride in keeping a school running smoothlyWorks well as part of a wider school team The role Full-timePrimary school settingBased in Harrow Immediate start available Why work with Protocol Education?
