Chief of Staff #1806MBR

£70k - £110k per annum

Our client is searching for a highly credible Chief of Staff to work in close partnership with senior executives and help translate strategy into action within a UK logistics business. This role is designed for someone who can bring structure, pace, and alignment to key business priorities while acting as a trusted adviser across leadership, governance, and cross-functional delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior leadership in the execution of strategic priorities and business objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure alignment across departments.
  • Prepare briefing materials, reports, presentations, and executive communications.
  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership on planning, governance, and decision-making.
  • Track key initiatives, risks, and action plans across the business.
  • Facilitate leadership meetings and follow up on critical deliverables.
  • Support internal communications and change management initiatives.
  • Provide oversight of strategic projects and operational improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure leadership time and focus are aligned to the highest-value priorities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Chief of Staff, strategy, business management, or senior operations role.
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management capability.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working closely with senior executives or boards.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience preferred.
