Recruitment Manager

Department: People

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Skegness

We are looking for a Recruitment Manager to join our Skegness team.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for our bustling resort! At any one time, this could be managing between 50-100 vacancies across a number of specialisms including bars, restaurants and entertainment. You will lead a small team and will be involved with everything from recruitment planning, attraction, assessment and on-boarding, ensuring that we recruit the right people for Butlin's every time.

Responsible for all recruitment activity on resort, you will also work with the immediate people team and wider resort team to plan recruitment activity based on current and future recruitment requirements. This will involve working closely with Hiring Managers from across the business to ensure we have plans in place to fulfil resourcing requirements and are recruiting in the right way, using recruitment toolkits that are aligned to our values.

You will be a brand champion, promoting the Butlin’s experience to candidates from their initial engagement with us, right through to the warm welcome when they start work. This will also involve driving attraction through a range of marketing campaigns and local area work with schools, colleges and universities.

You should have a real passion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliver experiences that truly delight our guests. You should be an advocate for your team’s fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 121’s and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin’s.

Typical working hours: as with all roles at Butlin’s, you should enjoy a fast-paced environment and working in an agile way. This role is resort based and we operate all year, 7 days a week and as such, some weekend working will be required to support our operation in this role.

About You

We are looking for a passionate recruitment professional with strong experience in managing end to end recruitment processes.

Experience in a previous Recruitment Manager position would be advantageous, but this isn't essential. This role could be a great opportunity for a current Resourcing Advisor or Resourcing Partner looking for their first step into a management role.

Experience in an in-house resourcing team is essential, as is experience in working closely with a range of stakeholders in a variety of specialisms. You should be confident in running recruitment assessments, as well as coaching and supporting Hiring Managers to make the right decisions for their teams.

You should have a good knowledge of employment law relating to recruitment, including knowledge of right to work documentation, discrimination and equal opportunities. You should also be confident interpreting and delivering guidance on resourcing policies, to ensure that advice and guidance is consistent and fair.

A CIPD qualification may be considered but this is not essential. What is more important to us is your mindset, the ability to understand and connect to our culture and values and the drive to learn quickly.

You should be passionate about leading and developing a team and supporting people through regular 121's and coaching.
