Key Stage 3 Drama / Performing Arts Teacher

Maternity Cover | 4 Days per Week | Start ASAP

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Key Stage 3 Drama / Performing Arts Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis, starting as soon as possible.

The Role

• Teaching Drama/Performing Arts across Key Stage 3
• Delivering engaging, practical, and inclusive lessons that inspire creativity and confidence
• Planning, preparing, and assessing in line with the national curriculum
• Supporting students of varying abilities to develop performance skills, collaboration, and self-expression
• Contributing to the wider school community, including performances or enrichment activities where appropriate

Contract Details

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Maternity cover (fixed term)
• Working Pattern: 4 days per week

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable but not essential depending on experience)
• Experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts at KS3 level
• Passionate about the arts and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A team player with a positive and flexible attitude
