A family based in Kensington are seeking a Live-out Housekeeper to assist with the daily running of their 5-storey home.

A lovely family based in Kensington is seeking an experienced and proactive Live-Out Housekeeper to take responsibility for the day-to-day running and upkeep of their five-storey, five-bedroom home. The household has two toddlers, with a newborn expected in March 2027, and employs two nannies, one of whom is live-in. The role is strictly housekeeping-focused, with no childcare duties; the nannies will manage all childcare and the children’s laundry. The family is at home full-time with the children, so the successful candidate must be considerate and mindful of the household's daily routine, adapting their cleaning schedule around nap times and family activities. They are looking for someone organised, discreet and flexible, who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully presented home. Duties included but not limited to:
- Maintaining the entire home to an excellent standard, including all bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces.
- Carrying out daily cleaning, tidying and deep cleaning as required.
- Managing all household laundry, ironing and linen changes.
- Keeping rooms, cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas organised and well maintained.
- Receiving and organising groceries, packages and household deliveries.
- Monitoring household supplies and ensuring items are replenished when required.
- Managing household rubbish, recycling and bins.
- Maintaining the front and rear outdoor areas, including basic cleaning and tidying.
- Identifying maintenance requirements and coordinating contractors where necessary.
- Preparing the home for the family's return following periods of travel, using quieter periods for deeper cleaning where appropriate. Key Criteria:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a private household or similarly high-standard home.
