Whether you're a Gopher for Golang, or someone that is looking to get involved with Go code for the first time, this is an opportunity for you. Software Engineers (or those of you that can code that don't go by that title), you'll join a core platform team that is in the process of transitioning a C#/.Net codebase to Golang. You do NOT need any previous exposure to either language; a background with one programming language (Python, Java, C++ etc.) and a desire to sink your teeth into Go is all that is required. Alongside the transition of their existing codebase, you will be getting involved with a company that is about to embark on a cloud migration project to GCP; this is an organisation that is looking to the future from an engineering perspective, investing extensively across their tech function and expanding all of their SRE, software development, and infrastructure teams. As part of the core platform team, you will work on the organisation's flagship product specialising in new feature development and building scalable solutions.
