Action Staffing is recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a beautiful, community-focused nursery located in the heart of Wapping (E1W).

This setting prides itself on providing a stimulating, child-led environment. We are looking for a confident leader who can inspire a team of practitioners, ensure the highest standards of care, and deliver an outstanding EYFS curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
Room Leadership: Take full responsibility for the daily running of your room, ensuring a safe, engaging, and joyful environment for the children.

Curriculum Planning: Lead the delivery of the EYFS framework, ensuring that all observations, assessments, and next steps are completed to a high standard.

Team Mentoring: Guide, support, and motivate Junior Practitioners and Apprentices, modeling excellent childcare practice.

Key Person Duties: Act as a Key Person, building secure attachments with children and maintaining excellent communication with their parents.

Safeguarding: Ensure all setting policies, Health & Safety protocols, and Safeguarding regulations are strictly adhered to.

Requirements
Qualification: Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification (Essential).

Experience: Proven experience as a Room Leader, or a Senior Practitioner ready to step up.

Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted inspection frameworks.

Leadership: Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
