In this rewarding position, you will:
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support, ensuring that students receive the individual attention and guidance they require
- Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, respected, and empowered
- Employ a range of teaching techniques and strategies to engage students, maintain their focus, and promote active participation
- Monitor and record students' progress, communicate effectively with parents and carers, and contribute to the overall assessment and evaluation process
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously expand your knowledge and skills in working with students with special educational needs
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and appreciation for the diverse needs and learning styles of the students you support

To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting, preferably with a focus on special educational needs
