About the Minibus Driver role:

We are looking for a Minibus Driver to transport students from home to school in the mornings and back again in the afternoons and also to venues for offsite activities during the school day. Daily hours are 7am – 3pm and you will be based at the Haybrook College main site, 112 Burnham, Lane, Slough SL1 6LZ.

The minibus driver will also be expected to ensure that all the College’s vehicles are kept clean, tidy and fuelled and to notify the College of any issues with the vehicles. They will be responsible for regular inspections of the minibus fleet and for organising maintenance eg servicing and ordering spare parts.

The position requires a responsible and pro-active person with good people and communication skills and who enjoys interacting with young people. It is a requirement that you are over 21 and have a current, clean driving licence, which has been held for at least two years. Experience of driving minibuses or similar vehicles is an advantage but MIDAS Training for minibus driving can be provided.

This is a term time plus Inset Days role paid on the Slough Level 3 payscale (range 1 – 4).

Starting salary £22,861 (£26,583 Full Time Equivalent) for full time 37 hours per week, 7am – 3.30pm Monday – Thursday and 7am-1.30pm on Friday.
