Are you looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in education? We are recruiting entry-level Teaching Assistants for vibrant primary, secondary, and SEN schools across Greater Manchester. No formal TA qualifications are required - just enthusiasm, patience, and a strong drive to support young people.
Role Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils needing extra academic or emotional help.
* Assist the classroom teacher with activity setup and classroom management.
* Work alongside SEN specialists to support children with diverse learning needs (autism, ADHD, SEMH).
* Encourage active participation, build confidence, and help foster an inclusive learning environment.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience working with children or young adults (e.g., care work, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching, or volunteering).
* A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
* Strong communication, adaptability, and emotional resilience.
* A proactive approach and a genuine passion for working with children.
Requirements
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
* Right to work in the UK.
* Contactable references covering the last 2 years.
