We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years (EYFS) Teacher to join Surbiton High Girls’ Preparatory School on a part ‑ time maternity cover basis from November 2026. This role is well suited to a reflective and nurturing practitioner who is passionate about early childhood education and supporting young learners to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

You will play a key role in delivering high ‑ quality EYFS provision, working collaboratively within a supportive team to ensure every child is inspired and encouraged to achieve their very best.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver engaging, well ‑ planned teaching across all areas of Early Years, creating a calm, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports pupils’ academic, social and emotional development

• Promote a love of learning through thoughtful differentiation, effective assessment and close monitoring of pupil progress against the EYFS framework and Early Learning Goals

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and pupils to deliver an ambitious curriculum and enrich learning through trips, visits and other opportunities beyond the classroom
