Contract

Fixed Term for 14 months

Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring every volunteer enjoys a welcoming, consistent, and engaging journey from initial enquiry through to ongoing involvement.

Helping volunteers feel informed, valued, and connected to our mission at every stage of their volunteering experience.

Supporting volunteer recognition, engagement, and celebration activities.

Coordinating Processes and Maintaining Compliance

Managing the retail volunteer recruitment and onboarding process.

Ensuring volunteering policies, procedures, and compliance requirements are followed across retail locations.

Maintaining accurate records using CRM systems, volunteer management systems, and other digital tracking tools.

Supporting and Developing Volunteer Managers

Providing practical guidance, training, and support to retail teams managing volunteers.

Offering advice and solutions to help resolve challenges and ensure volunteers are effectively supported and deployed.

Working collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and continuously improve volunteer engagement.

Monitoring performance against recruitment and engagement targets.

Producing reports and insights to support service development.

Contributing to the ongoing growth and strategic development of our volunteering programme.

Supporting volunteering events, campaigns, celebrations, and new initiatives across the organisation.

What We're Looking For

Experience working with volunteers.

Experience recruiting individuals through a variety of channels.

Experience building positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Facilitation and engagement skills.

Strong digital skills, including database management.

Able to work independently and as part of a regional team.

Empathetic, approachable, and people-focused.

Passionate about delivering an exceptional volunteer experience.

A commitment to living and promoting NWAA's values.

Why Join Us?

This is more than a coordination role-it's an opportunity to help shape a volunteering programme that supports a life-saving service across the North West. You'll work alongside passionate colleagues, engage with inspiring volunteers, and make a meaningful contribution every day.

If you're organised, people-focused, and excited by the opportunity to help volunteers thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
