Bus Driver

Your new company
You will be joining an existing driver pool at a large organisation in the Edinburgh area. Due to a new run being signed off, they are looking to add a Category D bus driver for a contract starting ASAP.
Your new role

• Drive various sizes of buses on shuttle runs, school runs and community excursions to provide transport for the public,
• Provide physical assistance to those with mobility challenges, including operating lifts or ramps.
• Adhere to planned routes and maintain punctuality for pickups and drop-offs.
• Drive safely and within the speed limits at all times.
• Engage with customers/the public in a polite and courteous manner.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified category D bus driver with zero/minimal points and endorsements on your licence and ideally with experience working in a similar environment. We will need you to be at the depot for an early start each day, with plenty of on-site parking for your own transport. This will be a Monday - Friday day shift working pattern.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a position with one of the largest employers in Edinburgh. Hays will pay you weekly PAYE with the option of accrued annual leave. You will be required to complete a PVG Scotland Check which Hays will complete on your behalf.
