Your new role
As a Private Client Tax Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax advisory services to a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and family offices. You'll manage complex tax matters including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts, while identifying planning opportunities and ensuring clients remain compliant with evolving legislation.
You'll lead client engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth of the private client offering. This is a client-facing role that requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to build trusted relationships.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:* CTA, ACA, or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience in private client tax, ideally within a practice environment
* Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and deliver projects on time
* A proactive approach to identifying tax planning opportunities
* Experience mentoring or managing junior team members is desirable
