We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing tramping work based in Scunthorpe (DN15). This is a long-term opportunity for reliable Class 1 Tramper Drivers looking for consistent work, excellent earning potential, and a permanent role with a strong salary package.
Following a successful temporary period, drivers will move to a permanent contract with a salary of £44,000 per year plus approximately £4,680 per year night out allowance .
The Role – Class 1 Tramper Driver
This position involves nationwide RDC deliveries and collections using modern Class 1 units and trailers. The work is clean and straightforward with no handballing required , making it ideal for drivers who prefer pure driving roles.
You will be working away during the week with regular nights out and consistent routes.

Key Responsibilities
Nationwide Class 1 driving and tramping work
RDC deliveries and collections
Completing vehicle checks and POD paperwork
Operating safely within drivers’ hours and WTD regulations
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous tramping, trunking, or long-distance driving experience preferred
Professional and reliable attitude
