Experienced Social Worker - Parenting Assessor

Conduct detailed parenting capacity assessments in line with current legal and professional standards.
Gather and analyze information from children, parents, and other relevant sources to inform assessments.
Prepare clear, concise, and evidence-based reports for court and child protection proceedings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including health, education, and legal professionals to support assessment outcomes.
Maintain accurate case records and ensure all documentation is compliant with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Attend case conferences, court hearings, and professional meetings as required to present findings and advocate for child welfare.
Provide guidance and support to families to improve parenting skills and child outcomes where appropriate.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with current registration and recognized credentials.
Proven experience in parenting assessments within child protection services or related fields.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, child protection policies, and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presenting in court settings.
Ability to work independently and manage a complex caseload with effective time management skills.
Experience in working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and building positive professional relationships.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and remaining current with best practices in social work and parenting assessment. Hours Per Week: 37.00

Pay Per Hour: £31.24
