We’re seeking a commercially focused, results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead the growth of our client’s domestic product range across the Southwest region . In this key role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and builders' and plumbing merchants , while increasing brand visibility and delivering against regional sales targets.
Area Sales Manager Permanent Competitive Salary + Company Car + Annual Bonus Monday- Friday Remote Working covering South-West Area Sales Manager Job Description- Drive territory sales growth by building and nurturing strong relationships with key decision-makers across wholesale, distribution, and trade networks.
- Promote the full range of domestic products, providing product knowledge, training, and support to trade partners.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, collaborating with internal sales and marketing teams to deliver on regional growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform future sales and marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and account updates, ensuring clear visibility of performance, pipeline, and opportunities
- Proven experience in a field sales role, ideally within the building, plumbing, or HVAC sector.
- Strong understanding of trade distribution channels, particularly wholesalers and merchants.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage a territory effectively.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the region
- Quarterly and Annual Profit-related Bonus Scheme capped
- 25 days holiday per calendar year + bank holiday
