We are looking for skilled practitioners, with mental health experience, who can provide low intensity evidenced based CBT interventions, manage risk and are passionate about young person-centred practice. Successful candidates will play an important part in the in the delivery of high-quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and well-being of young people in education settings. As part of the growing serivce, you will be empowered to shape and build the service with further education settings in Bolton. The Senior Mental Health Practitioner will be an integral part of the MHST in Wigan. You will use your clinical skills to listen to the needs of the child, young person and family to provide meaningful evidenced based interventions. You will provide support, advice and consultation to families/carers and other professionals in the life of the child/young person. You will work closely with education professionals to foster a whole school/college approach to mental well-being. you will use leadership skills to support, develop and empower staff in the serivce as well as developing the serivce itself though quality improvement, audit and evaluation.
