The Best Connection is proud to be partnering with our client and is currently recruiting Production Operatives for their site based in Bedford. This role offers a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working 07:00am to 3:30pm , with an excellent opportunity for a temporary-to-permanent position for the right candidate.
Pay rate is £13.50 per hour.
Requirements of the Production Operative - Bedford:
- Previous experience in printing, fabrication and using dye cutting machines is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and adhere to quality control standards at all time to ensure the products are of the highest quality.
- Have an interest in working in printing production and work collaboratively with colleagues at all times.
- Follow strict health and safety protocol at all times when operating the production equipment.
- This role is a physical roles with manual handling and lifting on a daily basics.
- Experience within modern & traditional machinery including Kasemake & Heidelberg machinery is an advantage.
- The role will involve running a variety of printing and dye casting machines.
Responsibilities of the Production Operative - Bedford:
- Operate the production machinery safely and following all health and safety protocol, following directions/instructions
- Candidates must have previous experience in producing high quality and bespoke preservation materials.
- Carry out tasks including cutting, gluing, measuring materials with high attention to detail.
- Assist in other areas of the production and warehouse to meet production targets.
