Multi-drop/collect Driver

About Again: 

Our purpose is to help brands reduce packaging waste. We do this by collecting used drinks bottle packaging from our supply partners, sort then wash the packaging at our CleanCell facility so that it can be used again and again. We’re now growing our Supply Operations team in the North-West and seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join the team.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for completing regionalised drops and collections within a 30-mile radius of our Runcorn facility. The number of deliveries will vary depending on the route and the locality of the drops, but expect to make 15 drops per route. 

You will be driving either a a 3.5T Luton van. A full Category C driving licence licence is beneficial, but not essential.

We’re looking for somebody who can work well independently and communicate well with our customers and the rest of our team to help improve our operations and service. So, a positive attitude and good communication skills are also essential. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Driving a 3.5T or to swap empty containers for filled containers at hospitality venues within approximately a 30-mile radius of our facility in Runcorn.
• Adhering to a route plan and accurately carrying out collection and delivery instructions.
• Carrying out daily/weekly vehicle checks and ensuring your van/truck is in safe working condition. 
• Ensuring the containers are transported safely and securely. 
• Communicating effectively with our customers, to help gain feedback on the scheme and passing on feedback to the HQ team.

Requirements:

• Able to start ASAP.
• Valid and clean full driving licence.
• Significant experience working within a driving role, loading, delivering and collecting equipment to/from customer sites
• Comfortable with manual handling of loads of approx 15-20kg.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Available to work early mornings (starting as early as 7am). 

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a hospitality logistics or waste management. 
• Forklift licence.
