Electrical Storeman needed in Oxford – Long term work
Location: Oxford
Rate: £17.00 per hour
Duration: Long-term work
Position: Electrical Storeman
We are currently looking for an Electrical Storeman to join a busy project in Oxford .
This role would suit an Electrical Labourer or Mate with a good basic knowledge of electrical materials and equipment . You do not need to be a qualified electrician, but previous experience working alongside electricians or on electrical projects would be beneficial.
Duties will include:
Managing and organising the electrical stores on site
Receiving and checking deliveries
Issuing materials and equipment to electricians
Keeping stock organised and maintaining a tidy stores area
Identifying common electrical materials, components and tools
Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
Moving materials around site when required
Assisting electricians with general labouring/mate duties
Keeping work and storage areas clean and safe
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Electrical Labourer, Electrical Mate or Storeman
Basic knowledge of electrical materials and equipment
Able to identify common electrical components and materials
Reliable and comfortable working as part of a site team
Good organisational skills
Valid CSCS/ECS card preferred
Full PPE
