SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £93+ per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time

This is a highly rewarding opportunity for someone with a compassionate nature and a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning. In this role, you will work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including autism spectrum conditions, speech and language difficulties, social-emotional needs, and complex learning challenges. Alongside teachers and therapists, you will help provide a secure and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who is resilient, empathetic, and passionate about making a meaningful impact on children's lives. Key Responsibilities for SEN Teaching Assistant: * Provide 1:1 and group support following EHCPs and individual learning plans
* Assist pupils with communication, sensory needs, and emotional regulation
* Support personal care tasks when required
* Promote independence, confidence, and life skills
* Help the class teacher maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Encourage pupil engagement, progress, and well-being Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant: * Experience working with children or young people with SEN
* A calm, patient, and understanding approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Ability to follow safeguarding procedures at all times
