A welcoming primary school in Warrington is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths & English Tutor to provide targeted intervention support for Year 6 pupils in the lead-up to their SATs.
Working through Connex Education , you'll support small groups of pupils, delivering focused Maths and English sessions that build confidence, close learning gaps, and help pupils achieve their best possible SATs outcomes.
The Role
* Deliver engaging Maths and English intervention sessions to small groups of Year 6 pupils.
* Support pupils in preparing for Key Stage 2 SATs.
* Identify learning gaps and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
* Work closely with the class teacher and school staff to monitor progress.
* Inspire confidence and a positive attitude towards learning. We're Looking For * Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly Key Stage 2.
* Strong knowledge of the Year 6 Maths and English curriculum.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* A patient, encouraging, and adaptable approach.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), HLTA status, tutoring experience, or relevant teaching experience is desirable. What We Offer * Part-time role (2 days per week) from September.
