The Role
We are fully committed to the key ambition and aims of Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC), to provide children and young people with the best possible start in life. Working within the Children and Families Health Visiting team, you will be expected to contribute to working with colleagues both from health and partner organisations to support families. You will be expected to provide the highest quality, needs led, evidence based care within a designated caseload.

This post provides an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to children and young people’s lives and to work in a dynamic environment. Minimum Requirements
- Registered Health Visitor/Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- IT skills-word processing/email/internet
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Car driver
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
- This is a permanent, part-time post of 14.4 hours per week.
- Salary is Pro Rata for part-time posts.
- Based at Pollokshaws Health Centre, 35 Wellgreen, Glasgow G43 1RR.
- Shift Pattern - Thursday - Friday
