Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced B2 Forklift Driver to join our team on an ongoing basis in Peterhead. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift within a busy yard environment, handling containers safely and efficiently.
Job Type: Ongoing / Full-Time
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am – 4:30pm
• Weekend work may be required as needed
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a B2 forklift truck in a safe and efficient manner
• Load, unload, and move containers within the yard
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organised working area
• Support general yard duties as required
Desired Qualities/Qualifications
Requirements:
• Valid B2 Forklift Licence
• Previous experience working in a yard or container environment preferred
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
Additional Requirements:
• Successful candidates must pass a full medical assessment
• Drug & Alcohol test is required prior to starting
