Helpdesk Coordinator - Facilities Management

Based In Hagley

£28,500 rising to £29,500 after probationary period

Basic overview of duties

* To report directly to Helpdesk Manager on a day-to-day basis.

* Actively seek ways to improve overall efficiency of service helpdesk functions.

* To take a proactive and professional approach when liaising with all company office based & engineering employees, Management and any third-party sub-contractors.

* Aiming to ensure that all KPI/SLA with all contracts are met and kept to a high standard.

* To actively seek new third-party sub-contractor within region that fall within the guidelines of the company’s rate structure.

* Continue to seek ways to help the company to become more profitable.

Primary Job Functions

* Logging reactive breakdowns onto system.

* Assigning/despatching PPM, reactive breakdowns and quoted works to engineers.

* Raising purchase orders for engineering employees and third-party sub-contractors.

* Ordering and chasing materials required for assigned works, and update system

* Chasing quotes from wholesalers and third-party sub-contractors and update system.

* Ensuring PPM/reactive works are meeting SLA/KPI deadlines and “First-Fix” expectations in timely fashion.

* Producing quotations.

* Compiling weekly analytical reports as required.

* Updating Job Logic system, and customer portals

* Covering OOH callout on rota basis.

Secondary Job Functions

* General office/reception duties such as answering the phones, Email, scanning, etc.

* Assisting with covering other colleagues whilst on holiday/sickness
