Your Mission as a Pharmacy Assistant

As a vital member of our team, you will:

• Assist in the dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, maintaining meticulous accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.

• Offer exceptional customer service, ensuring all patients feel heard, supported, and valued.

• Contribute to the pharmacy team by maintaining an organised and efficient workflow.

• Manage inventory by organising, stocking, and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals.

• Utilise computer systems for processing prescriptions, managing stock levels, and handling customer queries.

• Maintain a spotless and orderly pharmacy environment.

Who Are We Searching For?

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A foundation of pharmacy knowledge, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.

• Exceptional customer service skills; displaying warmth, empathy, and patience.

• A keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and safety of all pharmacy operations.

• Strong teamwork capabilities, thriving in a collaborative work setting.

• Computer literacy, comfortable with learning and utilising various pharmacy software systems.

Working Hours & Benefits:

This role offers a schedule designed to promote work-life balance with these hours: Monday: 09:00-18:00, Tuesday: 09:00-18:00, Wednesday: 14:00-18:00
Thursday: 14:00-18:00, Friday: 14:00-18:00 and flexibility required for occasional weekend shift on rota. Before applying, please ensure availability for these hours.
