Network Rail maintains Britain’s rail infrastructure, ensuring safe and efficient travel nationwide. Our 12-month industrial placements offer undergraduates practical experience, mentorship, and a chance to work on real rail projects.
Placement Overview
Our year-long placements, starting in September 2027, are ideal for students completing a year in industry. Participants gain in-depth experience in a specific field and often return for graduate opportunities.

Eligibility
- Undergraduate student, typically in penultimate year.
