We’re working with supportive primary schools across Leeds and Wakefield looking for confident and experienced Year 6 Teachers to join their teams this September. These schools understand the realities of Upper KS2, value staff wellbeing, and know that SATs season runs a lot smoother when teachers feel supported properly.
Your role:
- Teaching and preparing a Year 6 class for SATs and transition
- Creating engaging and focused lessons
- Supporting pupils academically and emotionally during their final primary year
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and leadership teams
- Building confidence and independence in pupils before secondary school
Schools are looking for teachers who:
- Hold UK QTS
- Have strong KS2 curriculum knowledge
- Feel confident leading a classroom independently
- Bring positive behaviour management and communication skills
- Can balance challenge, support, and a sense of humour during busy terms
