The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.
The role involves teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and structured lessons that develop students’ confidence in numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Maths, ensuring strong progress across mixed-ability groups.
As a full-time role, you will take on full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment, while maintaining a well-managed classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.


The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

- Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Be confident delivering GCSE Maths content
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to improving pupil outcomes and engagement
