Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead CGI's strategic expansion into the UK and Ireland Life Sciences market, establishing our presence within a rapidly evolving ecosystem where Life Sciences, Health & Care, Government, and AI-enabled transformation are increasingly connected. You will develop executive-level relationships across pharmaceutical organisations, MedTech, NHS bodies, regulators, academia, and innovation networks, positioning CGI as a trusted strategic partner and creating opportunities that deliver lasting impact.

Working within a collaborative matrix organisation, you will shape market propositions, identify and develop strategic opportunities, and bring together expertise from across CGI to create scalable solutions. You will play a key role in influencing industry conversations, supporting national transformation priorities, and building the foundations of a long-term Life Sciences capability that delivers value for clients and improves outcomes across the sector.

Key responsibilities:

Lead & Grow CGI's Life Sciences market strategy across the UK and Ireland.
Build & Strengthen executive relationships with pharmaceutical, MedTech, NHS, regulatory, government and academic stakeholders.
Represent & Influence CGI within industry forums, innovation clusters and strategic partnerships.
Shape & Position propositions spanning AI, data, clinical research, regulatory transformation and MedTech innovation.
Develop & Own a strategic opportunity pipeline aligned to CGI's long-term growth objectives.
Create & Secure early advisory engagements, pilot programmes and transformational opportunities.
Collaborate & Connect with Health, Government, AI, Data and Global Technology Operations teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
Champion & Expand CGI's profile as a recognised leader within the UK and Ireland Life Sciences ecosystem.
Identify & Enable new partnership opportunities that accelerate innovation and market growth.
Contribute & Inspire thought leadership aligned with UK Government Life Sciences priorities and sector transformation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To succeed in this position, you will bring significant experience within the Life Sciences sector together with a well-established executive network across the UK and Ireland. You will be an accomplished relationship builder with a strong understanding of the evolving Life Sciences landscape, including the convergence of healthcare, government policy, digital transformation and AI. You will combine commercial awareness with strategic thinking, influencing skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments while building new market opportunities.

Essential qualifications and experience:

Extensive senior leadership experience within Life Sciences, including pharmaceuticals, MedTech, biotechnology or closely related healthcare sectors.
Strong CXO-level network across the UK and Ireland Life Sciences ecosystem.
Proven experience building strategic partnerships across industry, NHS organisations, regulators and government bodies.
Demonstrable success developing new markets, strategic opportunities or business growth initiatives.
Strong understanding of UK Life Sciences policy, innovation ecosystems and adoption pathways.
Experience with digital transformation, AI, data or technology-enabled change within regulated environments.
Excellent executive communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Ability to work effectively within a complex matrix organisation, bringing together diverse expertise to achieve shared outcomes.
Commercial acumen with the ability to shape long-term strategic opportunities.
A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with resilience, curiosity and a passion for driving meaningful change.
