Temporary Appointment Setter (South African Market)
Location: Solihull
Hours: Approximately 18 hours per week
Duration: 3-month temporary assignment
Pay: £12.71 per hour

About the Role
The Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Temporary Appointment Setter to support a business development campaign targeting customers across South Africa.

This is a part-time temporary opportunity for someone who is confident making outbound business calls, building rapport and securing appointments for the client's sales team.

Key Responsibilities

* Make outbound calls to businesses across South Africa.
* Introduce the client's industrial machinery and services in a professional manner.
* Engage with decision-makers and identify potential business opportunities.
* Handle objections confidently and professionally.
* Book qualified appointments for the sales team.
* Accurately record call outcomes and update internal systems.
* Meet agreed call activity and appointment targets.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:

* Previous experience in outbound telesales, appointment setting or business development.
* Excellent spoken English and clear communication skills.
* The ability to communicate naturally and effectively with South African business contacts.
* Strong objection handling and negotiation skills.
* Confidence speaking with decision-makers over the phone.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to work independently and manage your workload.

Experience within an industrial, engineering or manufacturing environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
