Recruitment Consultant - Legal Division

Our client is a leading recruitment agency specializing in the professional services sector. Established in 2010 and headquartered in Warrington, we have built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional talent to finance & accounting firms across the Northwest.
To support the launch of their new Legal Division, they are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their team.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant in their Legal Division, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and managing a portfolio of clients in the legal sector, including law firms, in-house legal teams, and corporate clients across the north west.
- Proactively sourcing and screening high-caliber legal candidates, including solicitors, barristers, paralegals, and legal executives
- Conducting in-depth candidate interviews to thoroughly understand their specialist area of law, skills, experience, and career goals
- Matching the right candidates to the most suitable job opportunities
- Providing a consultative, customer-focused service to both clients and candidates
- Maintaining an extensive network of legal professionals and expanding this network through active business development
- Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a recruitment consultant, within the legal private practice sector
- Proven track record of identifying, qualifying, and placing high-caliber legal professionals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Resilience, determination, and a proactive, target-driven approach
- Knowledge of the local legal market in Warrington and the surrounding areas
- Legal industry-standard qualifications (desirable but not necessary)
