Service Lead (Health & Social Care) - Dumbarton

£35.17k - £37.01k per annum

Our amazing team in West Dunbartonshire are on the lookout for a Service Lead to join them on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave (approximately 12 months). This is a great development opportunity for someone who is looking to take that next step in their career.

About the role

As a Service Lead, you'll play a vital role in shaping and supporting services across West Dunbartonshire.

You'll:

  • Lead and inspire your teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and day to day guidance to colleagues
  • Drive continuous improvement across your services
  • Work with fellow Service Leads and Lead Practitioners to share best practise
  • Take on Registered Manager responsibilities

You'll ideally have:

  • An SCQF Level 9 and PDA in management ( or willingness to achieve - we'll fully support you !)

But more importantly you'll have:

  • A sound knowledge and understanding of what it takes to run effective, person-centred services
  • A passion for person-centred care
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A positive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence working independently and collaboratively
  • Great organisation, planning and time management skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities

Working pattern

This is primarily a Monday-Friday, off rota role, giving you a great work-life balance.

However, flexibility is important and occasional evenings, weekends, waking nights and sleepovers may be needed to support service needs. On call duties will also form part of your rota.
